Ben Folsland, President

Ben is a native and resident of Rapid City, South Dakota who has professional experience in the energy industry, financial services and investment real estate. He is the Founder and President of West River Financial Services LLC a South Dakota-based provider of consulting services specializing in investment real estate. Ben has assisted in debt placement, deal structuring, equity, development and asset management in a variety of real estate sectors including multifamily, self-storage, hospitality and commercial. Previously, Ben worked as a tax accountant – first for Casey Peterson and Associates, a BDO Seidman alliance firm, then Black Hills Corporation, a diversified energy company with over 4 Billion in assets. Ben also performs trustee and treasury services for certain clients. Ben holds an active CPA license and is a partner at Black Hills CPA Group LLP.
